Since 1990, Deschutes Children’s Foundation has supported exceptional services for children and families in Central Oregon.
Some of our recent accomplishments include the following:
 A second modular unit has been acquired and moved to East Bend Campus to help accommodate MountainStar Family Relief Nursery’s dramatically increased case load. This space will eventually be used by all campus programs to distribute food, clothing, and toys to program clients at the new East Bend Campus.
The fundraising portion of the Better Together Capital Campaign has been completed. Construction of an additional 16,000 square feet of facility space is well underway.
As part of a collaborative effort, Deschutes Children’s Foundation has participated in bringing continuing education for nonprofit leadership to Bend.
1,402 scholarships for after-school activities have been provided through the Every Kid Fund since April of 2000. Grants totaling $120,944 have been disbursed.
$600,000 in Sagebrush Classic proceeds have been distributed through Deschutes Children’s Foundation to local nonprofit organizations that serve children and families.
