Deschutes Children's Foundation took on management duties of the LaPine Community Campus in 2000, with a goal of promoting collaborative and effective services for area children and families. This facility houses six resident programs serving over 7,500 children and families annually.

Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Ed: Footprints Preschool 541.536.2906 Provides developmentally appropriate educational programs for children with and without special needs ages 3 to 5 years old.
Head Start 541.536.2903 National school readiness program providing comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families.
Rising Star Preschool 541.536.8362 A parent-coop nonprofit preschool serving children ages 3 to 5. The children make new friends and learn many skills that encourage growth and development with the goal of preparing children to transition well from preschool to kindergarten.
Together For Children 541.536.2906 Together For Children is a parent participation program for children from birth through age three. Groups meet each week during the school year and are open to all families in Deschutes County. Trained educators facilitate each group offering interactive play, children's activity time, parent education and family networking.
Womens, Infants and Children 541.322.7400 www.co.deschutes.or.us WIC is a free nutrition education program which provides supplemental foods to promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age 5.
