Founded in 1990, Rosie Bareis Community Campus is Deschutes Children’s Foundation's flagship campus. This campus currently provides rent-free collaborative space for twelve nonprofit organizations. While each group has an individual mission and program, together resident programs provide a community of social services to the children and families of Deschutes County in need of support. In 2006, resident programs served over 9,000 children and families.

Saving Grace

Saving Grace provides comprehensive family violence and sexual assault services and promotes the value of living free from violence.Saving Grace provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, support groups, peer counseling, therapeutic counseling, and education. Administration and training are housed at the campus.

Deschutes Children's Foundation promotes a community of services for the children and families of Deschutes County, primarily by providing rent-free facilities and no-cost property management for human service programs that serve children and families directly. DCF manages four collaborative campuses located in Bend, La Pine and Redmond.

The Deschutes County Mediation Service gives divorcing parents the opportunity to make their own decisions about custody and visitation for their children. A qualified, professional mediator helps families develop a parenting agreement.

Provides free early childhood wellness and development screenings for Deschutes County children from birth to five years of age. The goal of this program is to provide accessible, educational, preventative screenings to ALL children.

KIDS Center

The KIDS Center provides evaluation, treatment and prevention services for children when there is a concern of child abuse. The KIDS' Center offers services in a friendly setting designed to help children begin their healing.

Ready*Set*GO provides home visits to all newborns in Deschutes County. This program provides education and information on parenting, well-child growth and development and community resources.


Together For Children

Together For Children is a parent participation program for children from birth through age three. Groups meet each week during the school year and are open to all families in Deschutes County. Trained educators facilitate each group offering interactive play, children's activity time, parent education and family networking.

The Youth Choir provides an opportunity for musical expression and personal development for local children in a supportive and joyful environment. This nonprofit organization has provided positive extra-curricular enrichment for 16 years, supplementing music classes offered in area schools.
