Deschutes Children’s Foundation announces a Request For Proposals for funding from the 2008 Sagebrush Classic. Sagebrush Classic is a two-day event founded by Gary Fish of Deschutes Brewery and held at Broken Top Club. Proposals must come from nonprofit organizations that serve children and families in Deschutes County. The deadline for submitting the RFP is 12:00 pm May 7th.
Deschutes Children's Foundation's mission is to promote a community of services for children and families, and its primary means of accomplishing this mission is by housing and managing rent-free facilities for programs that provide services. It currently manages the Rosie Bareis Community Campus and the East Bend Campus in Bend, the Becky Johnson Community Center in Redmond, and the La Pine Community Campus, housing 29 programs and serving more than 45,000 people each year.
