Deschutes Children's Foundation Announces Search for Executive Director Deschutes Children’s Foundation (DCF) is looking for a dynamic, strategic, visionary leader with strong collaboration and communication skills to manage the work of an established capacity-building, nonprofit organization. DCF serves Central Oregon primarily by providing rent-free collaborative facilities for other nonprofits that serve children and families. DCF additionally manages other projects that facilitate the work of these organizations. The Executive Director is responsible for the oversight or direct supervision of all aspects of the operations of DCF, including direction, coordination and evaluation of services, fiscal accountability, fundraising, stewardship, development of policies, procedures and priorities, and human resources management. The mission of Deschutes Children's Foundation is to promote a community of services for the children and families of Deschutes County. Our primary strategy for pursuing this mission is to provide rent-free facilities and no-cost property management for human service programs that serve children and families directly. This puts critical dollars to work for children and families. Close collaboration between programs selected for campus residency fosters efficient, effective, and accessible services. Deschutes Children’s Foundation manages four collaborative campuses located in Bend, La Pine and Redmond. Currently these campuses are home to 31 human service programs that last year served more than 45,000 children and families in need of support.
