Monthly Giving Program
Why monthly giving?
Deschutes Children’s Foundation started a Monthly Giving program for the convenience of supporters and to help ensure steady resources for Deschutes Children’s Foundation’s four community campuses. Monthly giving helps Deschutes Children’s Foundation better plan and provide for the programs and services that impact 26 nonprofit agencies, and the 20,000 children and families who receive their support each year.
How does monthly giving work?
With monthly giving, you may designate a monthly contribution of any amount to be debited from your checking account. Deschutes Children’s Foundation will process this secure transaction the middle of each month. At the end of the year, you’ll receive a single summary of your contributions, including a tax receipt. Monthly contributions are flexible and can be changed or canceled at any time.
Why give monthly?
Monthly giving allows you to spread your contributions over a year. And, monthly giving is flexible: donors may increase, decrease, postpone, or stop donations at any time. Even a small amount becomes significant over time.
Benefits of becoming a monthly donor
- Affordability: spread your contribution out over the year. Monthly giving allows you to give a large annual gift through small monthly payments.
- Convenience: your gift will be transferred and will appear each month on your checking account statement. Avoid the hassle of writing a check, and receive a single summary of all of your gifts at the end of the year.
- Flexibility: choose a donation level that works for you. If for any reason you wish to increase, decrease, or suspend your gift, call Amy Ward, Executive Director at 541-388-3101.
